Karachi Kings Vs Peshawar Zalmi

Match 17 of PSL 8 is between Karachi Kings Vs Peshawar Zalmi, The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in Pakistan. The 8th edition of the PSL is starting from 13th February till 19th March of 2023.

Its Peshawar vs Karachi battle. With two victories from six games, Karachi is fourth on the standings and has a positive NRR. Peshawar has won the same amount of games despite playing in one fewer game, but the issue is that their NRR is negative. Both teams haven’t performed up to par thus far. Coming into the game off of two defeats, the Babar Azam-led team will like to turn things around. Peshawar defeated the other team in the first meeting by two runs in a thrilling game.

Both teams played their First match against each-other with bit of rivalry building between them in this HBL PSL season 8. Both teams aim for a win, will be a great battle between each-other. Kings had a very average PSL season so far, they are standing on 4th position on the points table and Peshawar Zalmi at 5th position with one less match compared to Karachi Kings for now, but today’s match will help the team to climb the point’s table.

Karachi Kings won the toss and choose to bowl first, Captain Imad elected to Bowl first. First ball was bowled at 7:00 local time.

Karachi Kings vs Peshawar Zalmi Head to Head

What’s My prediction (no Calculations Whatsoever Just my 6th Sense Lets see) ?

The last time these teams faced off was in the PSL 8 game, which Peshawar Zalmi won over Karachi Kings with barest of margins while it was first match of Babar Azam against his former franchise. Both teams are strong for this year’s PSL, however a rivalry has built between both teams Peshawar Zalmi’s captain a superstar batsman Babar Azam and Karachi Kings Captain Imad Wasim and fast bowler M. Amir.

My Prediction for the match is : Peshawar Zalmi to Win

The Result ?

Peshawar Zalmi Won by 24 runs.

The Karachi Kings will be hurt by this defeat. Mohammad Amir put them in a great position by taking three early wickets after they won the toss and decided to bowl first, but regrettably they were unable to build on that start. They managed to produce a respectable 197 thanks to a few strong partnerships and Rovman Powell’s devastating 64 off 32 deliveries. For the Kings, Matthew Wade had things going well in the beginning, but nobody else chipped in after that. They utterly lost their way as a result of consistently losing wickets.

Their captain Imad came out and played bravely, and his undefeated 57 at least made sure that this defeat didn’t severely damage their NRR.
