The Result ?

Multan Sultans won by 52 runs .

Multan won with precision. They didn’t take their success for granted after scoring a higher-than-average total and put on a disciplined bowling display that was supported by some outstanding fielding and catching. While Azam also made some courageous shots and Munro and van der Dussen worked together to keep the visitors in the game, the hosts appeared to be ahead the entire time. Mir’s double-strike, in which he struck out Munro and Shadab in the same over, is evidently what really gave Multan the advantage. From that point on, Multan didn’t make a mistake. Despite not gaining wickets early on, Ihsanullah was ferocious once more, and his pace did rattle the hitters.

Afridi was the star, though; he was a brilliant addition and took four wickets with some amazing performance. Islamabad felt short in the end because they were inconsistent with both bat and ball. Following Azam’s wicket, the visitors lost their final six wickets for just 25 runs, signalling a true collapse.

With 52 runs, Multan Sultans prevailed. Islamabad United’s potent batting lineup was unable to handle the pace and spin of the Sultans. Miller, Rossouw, and Rizwan all used their bats while receiving excellent support from their pacers and spinners. Ihsanullah, Ilyas, and Usama each took two wickets, while Abbas claimed four.
