Quetta Gladiators vs Peshawar Zalmi

Match 9 Quetta Gladiators vs Peshawar Zalmi | PSL 8 | 2023 , The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in Pakistan. The 8th edition of the PSL started from 13th February till 19th March of 2023.

The rivalry between Quetta and Peshawar, which is perhaps the second-biggest after Lahore and Karachi, has produced some intriguing matches throughout the years. Quetta has defeated Peshawar eight times, while Peshawar has triumphed over them 11 times.Enjoy the contest!

The Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators. Both have played two games, losing one and winning one. Interestingly, both teams have defeated Karachi Kings and lost to Multan Sultans. In the early PSL seasons, these two clubs were among the most reliable, but Quetta hasn’t advanced past the first round in three years while Peshawar has each and every year. Babar Azam, Pakistan’s top batter, was also acquired by Zalmi this season, and the team will try to end a trophy drought that dates back to the second season. We anticipate another tense confrontation between these two since their previous encounters were so intense. Teams are about to toss.

What’s My prediction (no Calculations Whatsoever Just my 6th Sense Lets see) ?

The last 5 Matches between these teams, Peshawar Zalmi won 5 matches over Quetta Gladiators, while Quetta Gladiators won 0 Matches in the last five Matches between these teams. The teams are evenly matched, therefore there will be a tough competition.

By looking at the past 5 matches record it is most likely that peshawar zalmi may win the match but I want to bluff the prediction and show some biasness towards Quetta Gladiators.

My Prediction for the match is : Quetta Gladiators to Win

The Result ?

Peshawar Zalmi won by 4 wickets

Peshawar Zalmi successfully chased that down as a result; Few runs in the end, relieving the pressure that had been built up by Naseem and Hasnain. Peshawar Zalmi have replaced Karachi Kings and are currently in second place with four points, while Quetta Gladiators remain mired in fifth place with just two points in the competition. After losing Jason Roy and Martin Guptill early in the match, Quetta got off to a poor start, but amazing rebuilding effort from Sarfaraz Ahmed and Iftikhar Ahmed saw them claw their way to 154/4.

In response, Peshawar Zalmi struggled as Saim Ayub and Tom Kohler Cadmore didn’t contribute many runs, but Mohammad Haris and Babar Azam gave them a strong start and set the tone for the batters in the lower order. Jimmy Neesham and Rovman Powell formed a crucial patnership and made sure they didn’t lose the edge. Both men entered their 30s but later left their positions. Since they knew they would be up against Smith and Nawaz, who didn’t represent as much of a threat as Naseem and Hasnain, Dasun Shanaka and Wahab Riaz ultimately played wisely to push their side over the finish line and didn’t panic.
